Why Morfa?

The Welsh word Morfa literally means “a place of, near or shaped by the sea” and is commonly translated as salt marsh, fen or moor (to learn more, visit the Living Language project). The ever-changing coast, transformed by tides and seasons is where the idea of this independent press was born. The colours of the salt marshes, deep greens, browns and blues, have inspired our visual identity.
